KFTA-TV is the Fox affiliate for Fort Smith, Fayetteville, and Rogers, Arkansas. They have a nightly news program anchored by Dana Sargent and Dan Skoff.

Until August 28, 2006, KFTA-TV had been a part of KNWA-TV, the market's NBC affiliate. KFTA is presently owned by Nexstar Broadcasting Group but is being sold to Mission Broadcasting; it will continue to be operated by Nexstar's KNWA-TV. The network change took place under Nexstar ownership even though Equity Broadcasting, the owner of former Fox affiliate KPBI-CA, challenged the sale of KFTA-TV with the FCC. [1] KFTA-TV will continue to air KNWA-TV programming from 7 AM to 5 PM until the FCC approves its sale to Mission. KPBI-CA will affiliate with MyNetworkTV when it launches September 5, 2006.

KFTA began on November 12, 1978 as CBS affiliate KLMN-TV. It began broadcasting on Channel 24 in the 1980s. Its previous frequency is unknown at this time.
