For All Tid ("For All Time" in English) is the first studio album by Dimmu Borgir. It was recorded and mixed at Stovner Rockefabrikk through August and December 1994, released in 1994 and re-issued in 1997 with their new label Nuclear Blast Records.

This is easily Dimmu Borgir's most "grim" sounding album, due to its harsh recording, trebly guitars, and vocals entrenched in reverb. However, blast-beating drums are used more sparingly than many of their peers at the time, and instead, the drums flow evenly with the riffs. Keyboard usage is more minimal here than on their later works, and only really accents the guitars. The music is also in a darker, more somber and depressing tone than traditional evil sounding chords.
