"Second-largest" prompts the obvious question. Michael Hardy 00:39 Jan 20, 2003 (UTC)
- Built by the same group of entrepreneurs, I believe. Michael Hardy 02:20 Jan 20, 2003 (UTC)
- And it's just had the zoning approved for another expansion, so don't any of you think of trying to beat us, either. :) Bryan
- Any reliable intelligence on what that expansion will be? I've heard rumors for years. It's never just "more stores". I've heard that apartments will be attached, so that you can live at the MegaMall. I've also heard that it will have a water park. I'll believe it when I see it with my own eyes. - Eisnel 11:39, 10 Jun 2004 (UTC)
BTW, to all you Twin Cities folk: Does everyone call it "The MegaMall"? If so, that might be a neat tidbit to include. =o) - Eisnel
West Edmington Mall references removed
I removed the abundant references to the West Edmington Mall from this page, including two totally unneccasary links to the WE Mall and another page about it. There is absolutely no reason to mention the West Edmington Mall in this article and especially not to the degree it was mentioned on the page before - why should there be more information about that mall here in the first section of this article than about the Mall of America itself - THE SUBJECT. I also removed the totally unrelated information about the Mall of Arabia. Information about those two malls belong on their own pages or in an article about "shopping malls" in general but not on the Mall of America page. It is enough to say that the mall is the biggest in America but not the world without mentioning which malls are bigger or will be bigger when completed.
- The problem with American schools is that they don't teach. For future reference (Edmonton, Alberta|E-D-M-O-N-T-O-N) is one of Canada's largest cities and the capital of Alberta (although, you clearly have never heard of it). Next time you wish to contribute to Wikipedia, please ensure that you at lease have a moderate understanding about the things that go on outside of your state, or perhaps, your county. In the meantime, pick up an Atlas. You might be surprised to learn that the United States is not the only country in the world.
