L'evento ha visto l'ultima apparizione dello Shield (Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns e Seth Rollins).
Storyline
Il 29 gennaio 2019 Dean Ambrose ha deciso di non rinnovare il contratto con la WWE (in scadenza ad aprile). Il mese dopo, Reigns è tornato dopo la sua lotta contro la leucemia e il 10 marzo, a Fastlane, lo Shield si è riunito per affrontare Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley e Drew McIntyre, sconfiggendoli.[1] Nonostante questo fosse stato sponsorizzato come l'ultima match dello Shield, un ultimo match è stato annunciato per questo evento.
