Erfan Okechukwu Olerum (born Daniel Okechukwu Olerum on March 13, 1983 in Nigeria) is a Nigerian-Iranian football player who currently plays for F.C. Aboomoslem in Iran's Premier Football League. He usually plays the striker position.Olerum is a striker known for his powerful long-range shots and prolific goalscoring abilities.

Club career
Olerum currently plays for F.C. Aboomoslem in Iran's Premier Football League, his previous clubs were FC Nsukka, Shooting Stars FC, Enugu Rangers, Pasargadae FC and Foolad FC. Olerum had a few unsuccessful seasons at Enugu Rangers before moving to Shooting Stars FC in Ibadan where he was instrumental to the club returning to the Nigerian Premier League. In August 2003 Olerum signed for Foolad FC and in 2004 it was reported FK Partizan were keen to sign Olerum however the transfer didn't go through due to unforseen circumstances. After making only 11 appearances and scoring no goals for Foolad FC in the IPL 2005/06 season, Olerum decided to go to F.C. Aboomoslem, another Premier League side where he has proven to be a great success.
International career
He aspires to play for Nigeria in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Personal life
- In September 2006 Olerum married an Iranian woman and converted to Islam, although he was a devoted Christian before hand. Along with his new belief, he also changed his name from Daniel to Erfan an Islamic name.
- He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria.
- He can speak basic English as well as basic Persian.
- On February 6 2007 he was offered Iranian citizenship.
