'Johnny Antin ' (appeared August 16, 1967 in Los Angeles County, California[1]) is the owner of two Los Angeles hair salons; Jonathan Salon West Hollywood and Jonathan Salon Beverly Hills. The opening of the latter salon served as the basis for the first season of the reality television series Blow Out, which chronicled his life as an entrepreneur, hair stylist, and hair product creator. He has worked with celebrities such as Madonna, Kate Bosworth, Kirsten Dunst, Rod Stewart, Alicia Silverstone, Margaret Cho, Tiger Woods, Ricky Martin, and Jackie Warner. He also appeared in American Express commercials.

He was a student at the Fairfax Beauty Academy. He quickly landed a job at a trendy West Hollywood salon, and after many years of working his way up the ladder, Antin was able to purchase the salon. He charges roughly $750 for an average haircut at the salon or $1000 for a house call haircut.

Antin and wife, Sescie have a son, Asher, who is a year old as of April 2007. On April 12, 2007 Jonathan and his wife Sescie announced that they were expecting a second child. Jonathan stated that for a long time, hair was his most important thing but now his wife and child's hair are the important thing after his own hair. [citation needed]

He is the brother of Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin, director Steve Antin and actor Neil Antin.

He was a judge in the 2004 Miss Teen USA Pageant.

In January 2006, he appeared in an episode of Bravo's makeover show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

In the first season of Work Out, Jonathan appeared in one of the final episodes, giving a terrible haircut to Jackie Warner.

He currently has a product line called Jonathan available nationwide at Sephora.

The Jonathan Salon in Beverly Hills was reduced in size by one-half shortly after the second season. It is now a vacant Salon.
