The du Maurier Classic was a professional golf tournament for women which was one of the LPGA Tour's major championships from 1979 to 2000. It was played in Canada, and was terminated due to restrictions on tobacco advertising introduced by that country. It was replaced in the LPGA's roster with majors with the Women's British Open, an existing event which was already a major on the Ladies European Tour.
