However, on February 27, 2007, The Land Before Time XII: The Great Day of the Flyers and two episodes of the TV series were stuck as a Wal-Mart Exclusive DVD 2-Pack. [1] The TV series takes place after the events of The Land Before Time XII: The Great Day of the Flyers.

Trivia
This article contains a list of miscellaneous information. (May 2007) |
- Chomper has been slightly modified in the TV series. He is now more purple (compared to his bluish color in the films The Land Before Time II: The Great Valley Adventure and The Land Before Time V: The Mysterious Island) and his teeth are positioned differently.
- This is Universal's first animated television series produced by Amblin Entertainment since 1992's Fievel's American Tails. It is also Amblin's first animated television series since 1998's Pinky, Elmyra, and the Brain. It is also the first time produced by Amblin Entertainment since the original film The Land Before Time. Both Universal and Ambiln produced previous animated television series, such as Back to the Future: The Animated Series (based on the Back to the Future live-action films) and Fievel's American Tails (based on An American Tail films).
- It is revealed in the end credits for The Star Day Celebration that Mr. Clubtail's first name is Kosh.
- Some people once thought that Back to the Future actor Thomas F. Wilson, currently heard on SpongeBob SquarePants, voiced Kosh, but then realized that Pete Sepenuk actually voiced him (due to the fact that "Kosh" is Mr. Clubtail's first name).
- Cartoon Network site has a page for the series as well as some games.
- In the episode The Canyon of Shiny Stones, Littlefoot and the gang are occasionally computer-generated in wide shots.
- Max Burkholder, the current voice of Chomper, also voices Roo on My Friends Tigger & Pooh.
- The Allosaurus in The Land Before Time VI: The Secret of Saurus Rock reappears in the episode The Lone Dinosaur Returns while Cera, Ruby, Spike, Ducky, and Petrie are singing The Legend of the Lone Dinosaur. Because of this, Chomper is afraid of Doc.
- In the Japanese version of the TV series, Chomper's voice is provided by Ikue Ōtani, the voice of Pikachu on Pokémon.
