Jorge Rafael Videla, a.k.a. The Bone, (born August 2, 1925 in Mercedes), was a Argentine soldier and politician. He was dictator of Argentina from 1976 to 1981, heading the military junta. His regime is known for its numerous 'disappearances' and baby-kidnappings in the so called 'Dirty War'.
