- Portugal
- You recieve an early rush of explorers (less so conquistadors) - take advantage of them by founding an early colonial empire in the Americas, or India via Africa.
- It is also possible to attack North African Muslim states and carve out an early empire there. Fez and Algiers can be easy takeovers, but Morocco could pose a threat if you overstretch your resources.
