Hi. Could you not delete any more of the British athletes articles. They are saveable. Thanks. Secretlondon 11:48, Dec 23, 2003 (UTC)
- Hi. The same goes for the boxer articles. (e.g. Lloyd Honeyghan). Please do not delete stuff unless it is complete garbage. If it is of debate use, then please list it on Wikipedia:Votes for deletion where it can be deleted (and where I can see it and write a more passable stub. If you are not in a position to judge whether something is complete garbage do not delete, list on VfD Pete/Pcb21 (talk) 13:05, 23 Dec 2003 (UTC)
Hi. Thanks for fixing up that empty area in resultant force. I had the info, but I needed to put it in my own words. --Merovingian 01:30, Jan 10, 2004 (UTC)
- No problem; sorry, for some reason it didn't say I had new messages. Evil saltine 21:50, 11 Jan 2004 (UTC)
hello evil saltine.
I'm afraid I don't understand what is going on. The material I've just typed in is absolutely 100% copyright free (the notation is that of Lamb --1879). Where do you think it is copied from?
Also, this material is better (IMO) under a separate heading. Potential flow in 3d is a perfectly good wiki entry; the complex analysis stuff is just not relevant to the physical assumptions underlying potential flow per se.
Also, one can add a pointer in complex numbers to potential flow in 2d which is much better than a pointer to the (physical) potential flow page.
I think two separate pages are better.
best

I never said the material was copied from anywhere. If you mean the copyright violation notice, that's just there because it's a more convienient place to access it (to copy it to a page), it's not referring to anything in particular. I'm sorry if I moved it inappropriately, I thought that generally articles cover multiple things with multiple headings unless the subtopic is too long to keep it in the main article.. but I don't really know anything about this subject. Feel free to move it back. Sorry. Evil saltine 21:48, 11 Jan 2004 (UTC)
