Template:Infobox radio WGBT, also know as 94.5 The Beat, is a Rhythmic Contemporary Hits outlet serving the Piedmont Triad area, covering the Greensboro-Winston Salem-High Point metropolitan area. The Clear Channel Communications station, whose COL is Eden, North Carolina, broadcasts at 94.5mhz. Although WGBT's musical mix leans towards R&B/Hip-Hop, they also play Rhythmic Pop crossovers. History
The station was originally Country outlet WHSL (Whistle 100.3) until 2001 when it swapped signals with WXRA. After the flip they switched formats to Classic Country, but the ratings weren't there and in 2004 flipped to its current Rhythmic Top 40 format.
