Hair of the Dog is a 1975 album by the Scottish rock band Nazareth. It was released on A&M Records. It was Nazareth's first big hit album (aside from the minor success of Razamanaz), including classics such as "Love Hurts", the synonymous "Hair of the Dog", and "Beggar's Day". The title song is often incorrectly thought of as being performed by AC/DC, due to vocalist Dan McCafferty's hoarse singing voice, very closely similar to AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson's vocals. The compact disk version released into the 2000s, features extra tracks. The album was recorded at Escape Studios, in Kent, United Kingdom.
