OGSI is short for Open Grid Services Infrastructure. As opposed to Open Grid Services Architecture, OGSI takes the statelessness issues (along with others) into account by essentially extending Web services to accommodate a grid that is both transient and stateful.

OGSI is now obsolete, and has been superseded (in practical terms) by WSRF.

Globus Toolkit version 3 contains an implementation of OGSI.
