Ivanhoe Grammar School is a multi-campus Anglican school situated in Victoria, Australia.
Campuses
The school has three campuses:
Buckley House ELC
The Buckley House Early Learning Centre (ELC) caters to preschool children aged three and four.
The ELC's program for three-year-olds is available either three mornings (9AM - Noon) or three full days (9AM - 3PM per week). Four-year-olds can be enrolled for either three or four full-days per week.
All students in the centre are required to wear the centre uniform at all times. The uniform consists of a teal-coloured polo shirt, and teal shorts with brown and white stripes. For winter, polar fleeces and tracksuit pants are also available.
The Early Learning Centre is located at the far North-West corner of the Ridgeway campus (south-east cnr Lwr Heidelberg Rd & Ridgeway).
Buckley House
Buckley House is Ivanhoe's primary school, accepting students for Prep-Grade 6.
Classes are moderately sized, with 25-40 students in each. Classes are coeducational, although the vast majority is male. Buckley House requires students to wear school uniform at all times. "Sports Uniforms" are required for Physical Education classes, which are mandatory. Students in Year 5 are required to purchase laptop computers, available through the school, and are used in Year 5 & 6.
Buckley House is located on the North side of the Ridgeway campus.
Ridgeway Secondary
Ridgeway Secondary encompasses Year 7 to 12. For students in Year 11 & 12, Ridgeway Secondary offers Victoria's traditional VCE qualification, or the Internationally-recognized International Baccalaureate program.
Ridgeway Secondary is coeducational, however, the vast majority is male. School Uniforms and "Sport Uniforms" are required, and must be worn at all times. Physical Education is required up to, and including, Year 10.
Ridgeway Secondary is located in the central part of the Ridgeway campus, stretching from the mid-east to the mid-west.
School Principal
Rod Fraser is currently serving as Ivanhoe Grammar's Principal.
His most significant accomplishment is the inclusion of girls into the School. This has been widely viewed in the school community as a positive transition.
However, Fraser has attracted widespread criticism in the community for his political activism. The Heidelberg Leader, the local community newspaper, has featured many attacks against Fraser for his political endorsements. During Australia's 2001 Federal Election Campaign, Fraser vocally encouraged the school community to vote for the Liberal Party. His support for the Party included numerous public speeches, articles in the school newsletter, and pamphlets distributed in school publications. A few days after the September 11 attacks in the United States, Fraser made a speech declaring the School's support for George W. Bush's "outlook on terror".

Historical Dates
- 1915: St James' Grammar School established in Paris Hall at St James' Church
- 1920: The School moves to its current site, Ivanhoe House at The Ridegway and changes its name to Ivanhoe Grammar School
- 1924: Locksley House opens (located on far-South of Ridgeway Campus). Today it is utilized for teaching English to ESL students.
- 1928: The Headmasters' residence (School House) is built
- 1941: The first International students arrive at Ivanhoe Grammar School
- 1942: Occupation of the School by Armed Forces. School relocates to Yea and St James' Parish Church
- 1955: The Memorial Junior School (now Buckley House) opens
- 1961: First Cadet unit formed
- 1964: Entire senior school moves from Locksley House to Ivanhoe House site
- 1967: The re-built Buckley Hall opens
- 1978: The Country Centre opens
- 1985: Land purchased in the Plenty Valley (Mernda)
- 1990: Ivanhoe Grammar School's second campus opens
- 1992: The Plenty (Mernda) Campus becomes co-educational
- 1995: Headmaster, The Reverend C E A Sligo retires
- 1996: International Baccalaureate made available at the The Ridgeway Secondary Campus
- 1998: New school uniform introduced
- 1998: The Memorial Junior School is renamed to Buckley House
- 1999: Buckley House and The Ridgeway Campus welcome female students
- 2001: The re-developed V R C Brown Centre and F O Watts Building open
- 2001: The Sinclaire Trust Enterprise Centre at Plenty Campus opens
