Dale "Flea" Weightman (Born October 3, 1959), is a former Australian rules footballer with Richmond.
Recruited from Mildura Imperials, Weightman was a silky-skilled rover with excellent leadership quality and a determination to succeed. He had superb vision and evasive skills, and possessed a pinpoint pass. His playing career with Richmond spanned 16 seasons (from 1978-1993) and included 274 games, 344 goals, and 2 Best and fairest awards (in 1986-87). Weightman also played in Richmond's 1980 premiership side.
Weightman represented the Australian state of Victoria, and was state captain in 1987 and 1988 v Western Australia, and against New South Wales in 1990. His other honours include winning the Tassie Medal in 1985.
Weightman is a diabetic, however this has not stopped him from being active, and in 2005, Weightman continued to have an impact in the EJ Whitten Legends Game at the Telstra Dome with competitors that were mostly around 5-6 years his junior.
