Cécile de France (born July 17, 1975) is a belgian Actress.

Biography

Born in Namur, Belgium in 1975, and left the country at the age of 17 to go to Paris where she studied l'art dramatique for two years at Jean Paul Denizon while preparing the ENSATT(École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Techniques du Théâtre) The National Superior School of Arts and Techniques of Theatre. Accepted, she spent 3 years from 1995 to 1998 attending to Département Comédie (Comedy Section) at first rue Blanche in Paris, then in Lyon.

Her meeting with Dominique Besnehard marked the beginning of her career. She plays in movies such as L'art (délicat) de la séduction, Irène, L'Auberge espagnole.

Around the world in 80 days with Jackie Chan was her first appearance in a hollywood big budget production. She played the character "Monique", the love interest of Phileas Fogg.
