XEPE or Cash 1700 signed on mid-August 2005. It carries business talk like KCEO-AM but provides its own programming for the surrounding areas of Tecate, Mexico, and portions of San Diego. It is owned by the same company that owns XEPRS with offices in La Jolla, California. Most of their programming is carried by Connecticut-based radio network Business Talk Radio Network, but on weeknights from 7PM-5AM, they air CNN Headline News radio.
Cash 1700 is the official radio home of the Lake Elsinore Storm Class A minor league baseball team.
