Kylara Vatta is the daughter of one of the senior executives of Vatta Transport LTD, based out of Slotter Key. Sent home in disgrace from the Slotter Key space force, she is tasked with captaining an old, decrepit freighter on its final journey to the scrapyards of Lastway. Determined to save the ship from being scrapped, Ky deviates from the mission in an attempt to gain enough credit to refit the ship. However things aren't quite as simple as she imagined - and she lands herself right in the middle of an interstellar war!
The Vatta's War series follows Kylara Vatta through the course of the war, and her ensuing effort to save the crumbling Vatta trade empire.
