Registry Fixes
All incarnations of the HTC Wizard except the i-mate K-Jam come shipped with the 802.11g wireless mode disabled. You may re-enable it by using any Windows Mobile compatible software that supports registry editing such as 'Total Commander CE' (tip: to browse the registry, set the ___location to '\\\registry\').
You would simply need to add a Dword named dot11SupportedRateMaskG with a Decimal value of 8 to the following ___location in your HTC Wizard's registry: \HKLM\Comm\TNETWLN1\Parms\
Finally, you would need to 'Soft Reset' your phone by either switching your phone off then on or by pressing the tiny reset button on the side of your phone.
Remember to take care when editing your registry as it contains sensitive data which could cause malfunctions if not used properly.
