Chagai, Baluchistan; plans started back in 1976 with PAEC (pakistan atomic energy commission) scientists frequently visiting the area to find a suitable ___location for an underground nuclear test, preferably a mountain. The mountain is 185-metre high granite mountain in the Ras Koh Hills in the Chagai Division of Balochistan. Highest point rise to a height of 3,009 metres. The underground nuclear test was made 3:00 p.m. on the afternoon of 28 May 1998.
