Open è il quarto album in studio della rock band svizzera Gotthard, pubblicato nel febbraio del 1999 dalla BMG/Ariola. L'uscita è stata anticipata dalla pubblicazione del singolo Let It Rain nel novembre del 1998.

È stato ristampato il 14 luglio 1999 con l'aggiunta della traccia bonus Mad Love per il mercato asiatico.[2] La canzone Hey Jimi è un tributo a Jimi Hendrix.
L'album ha debuttato direttamente al primo posto della classifica svizzera, mantenendolo per sei settimane consecutive.[2]
Dopo il grande successo ottenuto dal live acustico D-Frosted, questo disco si presenta con sonorità meno aggressive e più ricercate, allontanandosi dallo stile più duro dei primi tre album dei Gotthard. Tale svolta sonora proseguirà anche con l'album successivo, Homerun.
