Øvrebø is a former municipality in Vest-Agder county, Norway.

Øvrebø was established as a municipality January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). Two other municipalities were later separated from it: Vennesla (1861) and Hægeland (1897).

Øvrebø (together with Hægeland) was merged with Vennesla January 1, 1964.

The centre of the area is the settlement of Skarpengland, which houses, amongst other facilities, a bank, a post office, several stores, a motor repair shop, and a school. Øvrebø is known for the "Øvrebø ski", found at Mushom and considered for many years to be Norway's oldest preserved ski. It can be seen in the Holmenkollen Ski Museum in Oslo.
