History
On October 13, 2006 Sky Value Ltd. of the United Kingdom announced that they would begin flights in December from Gary/Chicago International Airport to five "sunny" locations. They stated that they would offer service from December 2006 to April 2007 as a test run, but continue the service if it proves successful.
SkyValue will operate as a "scheduled charter" service, as they will wet lease their aircraft from Xtra Airways, doing this as a way to keep expense to a minimum if things fail. Many airlines do this as a way to test new service and routes. Some are a bit wary about airlines that operate this way for the majority have been unreliable and have ceased operation.
