The concept could be said to losely derive from that of Dragons Den. Over seven weeks, various members of the public appear, several per show, and appeal before a panel of judges for money[1].
The panel consists of five high-profile multi-millionaires:
- Jeffrey Archer - former Member of Parliament, former Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party and best selling author
- Duncan Bannatyne - entrepreneur ano panel member of BBC Two's "Dragon's Den", owner of Bannatynes Health and Fitness club
- Jacqueline Gold - Managing Director of Ann Summers, daughter of David Gold who co-owns Birmingham City F.C.
- Simon Jordan - mobile phone entrepreneur and owner of Crystal Palace F.C.
- Kanya King - founder of the MOBO awards
The programme was recorded between 10 December and 15 December 2006 at Three Mills Studios in Bow, London.
