Immunes

Immunes were those soldiers of the military of ancient Rome who were "immune" from combat duty and fatigues through having a more specialist role within the army.

Immunes included engineers, field medics, carpenters, and craftsmen. However, they were also fully trained and could be expected to fight in the infantry if necessary. Template:Ancient-Rome-mil-stub
