Slackpkg
slackpkg è un software(tool) che automatizza l'installazione e l'aggiornamento e la rimozione di pacchetti attraverso una rete di Slackware ove risiedono i repository. slackpkg è stato incluso nel ramo principale in Slackware 12.2 - precedentemente è stato incluso in in extras/ da Slackware 9.1. La sua licenza è la GNU General Public License (GPL).

slackpkg è un tool di gestione dei pacchetti automatizzata scritto per slackware in shell script. E' stato designato per facilitare il lavoro dei sysadmin che lavoravano con Slackware, permetteva di svolgere le attività riguardanti i pacchetti con un solo comando. slackpkg does not replace the Slackware package management tools such as installpkg and upgradepkg; rather it uses them.
Some of the features of slackpkg include automated package installation, upgrading and searching. Many of these features, such as package deinstallation, can be performed more directly by using the Slackware package tools themselves, though their incorporation in slackpkg provides a more consistent user interface.
Slackpkg does not resolve dependencies between packages, like rpm from Fedora and openSUSE. Only third-party applications, such as slapt-get, have an automated package relation management.
