One Night Stand (WWE)
One Night Stand, noto come ECW: One Night Stand fino al 2006, è stato un evento in pay-per-view prodotto dalla World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) tra il 2005 e il 2008.
Storia
La prima edizione di One Night Stand si svolse, in via del tutto eccezionale, il 12 giugno 2005 all'Hammerstein Ballroom di New York City (New York) e venne realizzata come tributo alla vecchia federazione di wrestling della Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), il cui marchio era stato acquisito dalla World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) nel maggio del 2003. A partecipare a questa edizione furono esclusivamente i wrestler della ECW originale, alcuni dei quali non erano nemmeno sotto contratto con la WWE.[1]
Nel 2006, con l'inserimento della ECW come nuovo roster della WWE, l'evento divenne a tutti gli effetti un pay-per-view della federazione di Stamford.
Nel 2009 il pay-per-view venne sostituito da Extreme Rules.[1]
