Caratteristiche tecniche
Centrocampista di fascia sinistra, può essere schierato anche da ala o terzino. Per le sue caratteristiche è stato paragonato a Gareth Bale e Luke Shaw.[1]
Carriera
Cresciuto nel settore giovanile del Southampton[1], ha esordito in prima squadra il 15 febbraio 2014, nella partita di FA Cup persa per 0-1 contro il Sunderland.[2] Il 21 gennaio 2016 viene ceduto in prestito fino al termine della stagione al Southend United, club militante in League One.[3] Rientrato ai Saints, il 12 maggio prolunga fino al 2021.[4] Il 21 ottobre ha compiuto il suo debutto europeo, in occasione del match di Europa League pareggiato per 1-1 contro l'Inter.[5]
