Benzion Netanyahu
Benzion Netanyahu, nato Mileikowsky (Varsavia, 25 marzo 1910[1] – Gerusalemme, 30 aprile 2012[2]), è stato uno storico israeliano.
È il padre di Yonatan e Benjamin Netanyahu
Membro del sionismo revisionista vicino ad Abba Achimeir, è condirettore del quotidiano Betar (1933-1934) prima di unirsi a New York per diventare segretario di Vladimir Žabotinskij.
Biografia
Nacque a Varsavia come Bensyjon (Bencyjon) Milejkowski e visse lì con la sua famiglia fino al 1920. Quindi emigrò con la sua famiglia dalla Palestina, dove prese il suo nome dalla città di Netanya. Ha vissuto a Gerusalemme per diversi anni, ha studiato all'Università Ebraica. Ha trascorso molte volte negli Stati Uniti, dove ha lavorato come insegnante accademico.[3]
Morì la mattina del 30 aprile 2012, nella sua casa di Gerusalemme all'età di 102 anni.[4]
