Darryl Isaacs is a notable attorney and statewide personality. Gained noteriety through use of clever television advertising featuring himself in various contexts. Successful advertising campaigns have ultimately resulted in him simply being referenced to as "The Kentucky Hammer" or "The Heavy Hitter." Attended University of Louisville School of Law.

  • Ronald M. Atlas, co-director of Center for Deterrence of Biowarfare and Bioterrorism in the School of Public Health and Information, member of NASA’s Planetary Protection Board and the FBI Scientific Working Group on Bioforensics
  • Arthur William Dakan, {Los Angeles, CA} nationally noted urban geographer, drew council districts when Louisville and Jefferson County merged [33]
  • Dewey Clayton, {High Point, NC} author and expert on African American politics
  • [[Dr. Walter S.Coe (Cardiologist)], in 1948 founded and directed the first cardiac catheterization laboratory in Kentucky. Dr. Coe was Governor for the Kentucky Chapter of the American College of Physicians from 1978 to 1982. He also served as President of the Kentucky Heart Association and Director of the American Heart Association.
