Errors in Today's featured article

When I clicked on the "more" button in the main article, a very explicit pornographic picture displayed on my monitor... the exhibit was male genitalia in erection. I didn't appreciate it, and I hope you investigate to see if the main page is sabotaged in some way to display the picture when anyone wants to read the remainder of the article about same-sex marriage in Spain. Thank you.

We apologize for any such obscene images you may have seen; Wikipedia is a "wiki", which means that anyone can edit or modify the pages. While the vast majority of our edits are good-faith, we rely on the goodwill of our thousands of volunteers to ensure that article content remains as encyclopedic as possible. Occasionally, though, vandalism - or the defacing of articles with junk text or even the occassional image - will occur; it is usually reverted within seconds. However, this doesn't excuse the fact that you saw this, and I can only offer you our deepest apologies and the fact that we're always working on ways to improve the system. Thanks. • It is confusing to talk of the "President" of Spain. Spain is a constitutional monarchy, so doesn't have a president in the traditoinal sense. There has been some debate about this at Talk:Prime Minister of Spain and the consensus was that the usual English term (especially in media etc) is "Prime Minister of Spain", rather than the more literal Spanish translation, which is "President of the Government". Cheers — SteveRwanda 11:45, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure about the page move from President of the Government of Spain to Prime Minister of Spain. I've linked the word "President" on the TFA template to President of the Government of Spain for the time being and let it redirect. Hope this helps. --PFHLai 15:06, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well the page shouldn't have been moved the other way without due process. In the only votes taken on the talk page, almost all favour Prime Minister. Media in the UK always use this term and I'd never heard of the other until I came upon Wikipedia. A link is better, but the TFA shouldn't call him President as it's still confusing and inaccurate. "President of the Government" or "Prime Minister" would be better. SteveRwanda 15:32, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Errors in Did you know?

The description of where the Earth is in the caption is quite unhelpful.. i believe, more specifically, it is "inside the G-ring, and above the leftmost point of the main rings". I hope this better description can be added. 131.111.8.98 08:25, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a better one? ffm yes? 16:33, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think he is proposing a specific edit, replacing "Interior to the G ring and above the brighter main rings is the pale dot of Earth." with "Inside the G-ring, and above the leftmost point of the main rings is the pale dot of Earth." The dot he describes can be seen in the high resolution version of the picture. Sounds good to me if there are no stylistic objections. Art LaPella 18:09, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
