A good question
Unfortunately, your edits to deleted pages/images won't show up in your contribs. Xiner (talk, email) 20:05, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- It's talking about thge number of pages you've edited. Xiner (talk, email) 20:11, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
No, the term "unique" refers to the number of distinct pages you've edited. For example, if you made 10 edits to Polar Bear, then you've edited one unique page, but if you made five edits each to Polar Bear and Polar bear cub, then you've edited two unique pages. Hope that clarifies. Xiner (talk, email) 20:21, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- I could delete and restore User:Cremepuff222/User Page if you want. Xiner (talk, email) 22:02, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
I wouldn't mind seeing that. :) Xiner (talk, email) 22:06, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Your user page edit count should've gone down by some 628 edits. Xiner (talk, email) 22:32, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Question
Thank you for comming to my help request. I have been trying revert a few pages that have either been partialy vandelised or where new informaation has been added but there is no sorce to back up the claim. I have tried to revert, but with no luck. Everytime i check it in prewiew it has not worked the way it should have done, so i just leave it. I can't quite work out what i do worng despite checking my actions. Any idea as to what i might be doing wrong? Thank you for your time. Hon.DJP 21:06, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Yes, you may have one
The Working Man's Barnstar
For reverting vandalism, copyediting, and your work at WP:MOTD. I'm sure you've done a lot more, but I thought giving you a combo barnstar would be best. Peace, ♣Tohru Honda13♣ 01:06, 19 March 2007 (UTC) |
You have mistakenly identified my edit as vandalism
In the article on Phenomenon, I rearranged the sections in a more logical way, so that the general use of the term comes before the...well, not general. However you (or more likely your script, since it happened so quickly) reverted the edit, and accused me of vandalism:
Reverted 1 edit by Am088 identified as vandalism to last revision by Peterdjones. using TW
According to Wikipedia:Vandalism,
Vandalism is any addition, removal, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia.
Since my edit was not an "attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia," I assume that it was a mistake, and I'd like you to take any steps to prevent that from happening.
I would also like to advise you to make a few changes to the message you leave:
- Use the standard ==Heading== rather than ===Subheading=== when replying -- you are not replying to the last message on my talk page and it messes up my table of contents.
- Leave have a link to where I should report false edits or malfunctions such as this one, especially if you are using beta scripts such as Twinkle.
- Remove the welcome message. I already have been welcomed three years ago.
Thanks

Hello
A Barnstar (well technically, it's an award)
The Exceptional Newcomer Award
I, Steptrip, hereby award you the exceptional newcomer award for having made more edits in one month than I have made in six, albeit most of them were userspace edits, you deserve it nonetheless. ~Steptrip 01:19, 20 March 2007 (UTC) |
Thank you!
Thank you very much for the barnstar! It's great to have that encouragement to keep going. Thanks again. --Tewy 02:24, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- I know how you feel. I just spent who knows how long moving about forty mottoes from Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Approved (which I see has filled back up again) to the schedule page. --Cremepuff222 (talk, review me!) 02:27, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, it's very time consuming with the sheer number of mottos. --Tewy 02:38, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi
Hello! Chiefsfan364 (talk) 15:59, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
That userpage
See User_talk:Everett_James_Lines. Xiner (talk, email) 20:58, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you. That's very kind. Xiner (talk, email) 21:06, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Warning Templates
Only use the {{subst:uw-vandalism3|NameOfPageVandalized}}
, or any equivalent template after another warning has been posted. Instead of using the aforementioned template you can use the {{subst:uw-vandalism4im|NameOfPageVandalized}}
if the vandalism is serious enough on the first vandalization. Please, don't take this personally, I had a problem with not knowing which warning template to use until an admin came along and told me. Thanks, ~Steptrip 23:08, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- Try using "*WARNING: Editcountitis can be fatal, if symptoms continue, please consult an admin." This is entirely up to you, though.
P.S. I'm working on a new barnstar, the Imperium barnstar; any help with coding will be appreciated. ~Steptrip 00:36, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
The Imperium Barnstar | ||
This motto is not an actual reward (sorry), but rather it is to see how much you like the design of it ~Steptrip 00:50, 21 March 2007 (UTC) |
How do you like it. ~Steptrip 00:50, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry that I was so hasty, I just copied the coding for The Original Barnstar and modified it. You can find the template right about here. ~Steptrip 00:55, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Your's included only your signature, so I looked at the edit window of {{smile}}, and I found coding that fixed everything, try it out in User:Steptrip/Sandbox. P.S. What did you make on your literature test that you were telling me about approx. 1 week ago? ~Steptrip 01:24, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
MONOBOOK?
What was that thing you told me about monobooks and javascript? It sounds intriguing... :) Oh, and I couldn't run tonight. Sorry :( Chiefsfan364 (talk) 01:27, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Good point. Maybe he'll have posted the message before 7:55 AM EST Tomorrow. Anyway, I have to retire to bed right now /*Yawn*/ ~Steptrip 01:44, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi to you, too
'Ello. Not much -- I just got two awesome records for $2.50. I made three userboxes to celebrate. :D
This user may be a teenager, but they love vinyl records. |
This user loves vinyl records. |
This user likes vinyl records more than CDs or any other form of music. |
The records are awesome ... one by The Who and one by The Police. Muahahaa. --Theunicyclegirl 21:34, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I know, there's an awesome music store around here that sells used records for like nothing. Mine were in the $1 bin and the $3 bin, but were 40% off because they were used. Plus tax. They're both sort of classic rock. The Police have some reggae influences though. --Theunicyclegirl 21:38, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Technically they're punk rock, but they were punk rock of their time. Now they sound more like classic rock compared to today's punk. I still love them, though. -- Theunicyclegirl 21:40, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, it is. But not all their stuff is that cheap. New CDs are $16.50. Still, the records are nice and cheap because not many people buy them. Except for me. I wish current artists would release their music on vinyl... --Theunicyclegirl 21:41, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Ha. Nice. To go new page patrolling, click here. Try to find things that sound like they might meet deletion criteria. To make it easier, go to User:Lupin/anti-vandal_tool (I think that's the right link...) and add it to your monobook. --Theunicyclegirl 21:47, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
