O' Gallachoir; a modern translation of the Irish for Gallagher (O' Gallchobhair) found primarily on the west coast of Ireland in the counties of Donegal, Sligo and Mayo. The name means descendant of O'Gallchobhar, who was descended from the King of Ireland 642-654AD. Information to follow.
