The community is located on the shores of Gods Lake, which is the 7th largest lake in the province. It is believed to have a depth of over 800 feet which makes it the deepest lake in North America with a width of less than fifty miles. The lake is special in that in some areas of the middle of the lake it is only 10 feet deep which attracts many Northern Pike, also in other parts the lake can reach amazing depths of over 800 feet which attracts Lake Trout.
