History: Saint George Hospital was known by its long history of collaboration with many medical schools. An alliance started with Saint Joseph University soon after Lebanon's independence, then the Lebanese University joined the association and continued until a coalition shift when the institution reallocates toward the University of Balamand, offering vast skills to the young generation of Lebanese physicians.

The present: It is affiliated with the University of Balamand, the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Toulouse, the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Poitiers, the American Foundation for Saint George Hospital, Medicard, and the Foyer Saint Georges.
