KGGI can be heard in areas adjacent to the Inland Empire region; sensitive radio tuners such as car radios in cities as far west as Santa Monica.

KGGI is known as "The IE's Hottest Music.

History

KGGI aired a country music format prior to 1979. KGGI aired a Top 40 music format that evolved into the Rhythmic Top 40 music format of today.

Competition

KGGI has 6 competing station. 96.1 KWIE(aka Wild 96.1 is KGGI's rival) and 93.5 KDAI compete with KGGI in the IE. 105.9 KPWR(aka Power 106), 102.7 KIIS, and 96.3 KXOL(aka Latino 96.3) compete with KGGI in the IE from L.A.. KGGI also has some competiton in the Victorville/Hesperia/Barstow(Victor Valley from 94.3 KDUC(aka "The Duck").
