Llanilar is a town in Ceredigion, Wales about 4 kilometres southeast of Aberystwyth. It was built along the Ystwyth River and contains a church, chapel, post office, primary school, and garage. There is also a Roman site just on the east border of the village. Its name (in Welsh meaning "Church of Hilary") refers to Saint Hilary of Poitiers. Ps. Its a really boring place.
