Carl Baugh is one of the best known proponents of "Creation Science".
He presides over the "Creation Evidence Museum" out of Glen Rose, Texas, near Dinosaur Valley State Park. He also appears on a weekly TBN show called "Creation in the 21st Century".
His philosophy on human origins and the age of the earth is quite similar to that categorized as "Young Earth creationism". He has authored several books on such topics as the age of the universe, dinosaurs coexisting with humans, and critiques of evolution.
He claims in his book, "Panorama of Creation" (1992) that a metallic layer of Hydrogen surrounded the early earth. Furthermore, he claims that hexagonal water, or, "Creation water" as he calls it, is capable of healing. Such claims are patently addressed on websites such as "TalkOrigins.org" as "pseudoscience", and much work has been done to debunk his theories and claimed degrees by the likes of Glenn Kuban and S. Daniel Morgan. He has been compared to Kent Hovind and other somewhat maverick creation scientists, in that rather than belonging to a "Creation Science" organization such as "Answers in Genesis" or "Institute for Creation Research", they choose to establish individual ministries that they are in direct control of. Considering the coverage lent to the "Creation-evolution controversy" by the media, he figures into numerous interviews and articles as "an authority in 'Creation Science'".
