Michael Dawson (born November 18, 1983) is a professional football player who plays as a defender. He currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur.

He signed in 2005 from Nottingham Forest with his teammate Andy Reid. Though the fee was never revealed, it was thought that the combined fee was in the region of £8 million.

Michael turned professional in November 2000, and collected 91 appearances for Forest. He made his debut in 2002 against Walsall.

The highly rated England Under 21 international has won several trophies for and with his country.
