Robert Blair Kaiser (born 1930) is an American author and journalist, best known for his writing on the Catholic Church. As a correspondent for Time Magazine, he won the Overseas Press Club Award in 1963 for the "best magazine reporting of foreign affairs" for his reporting on the Vatican Council. Two of his ten published books deal with Vatican II: Pope, Council and World, and The Politics of Sex and Religion.

He is currently finishing a book about the recent papal transition.
