Géza, Grand Prince of the Hungarians

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by MichaelTinkler (talk | contribs) at 19:12, 17 January 2002 (that's all I can find out about Geza from what I've got in my office.). Geza, grand prince of the Magyars (around 972-997) was great-grandson of the Arpad who gave his name to the ruling dynasty. Geza permitted Christian missionaries to come to his country, was baptized in 975, and and permitted his son and successor Stephen to be baptized as well.
