ITV Production is the network production business of ITV plc, created on 2 February 2004.

ITV Production comprises the network production divisions of the following ITV companies:

  • ITV closed three network productions in 2004.

Until 31 October 2004, the former regional names and logos continued to appear after programmes made by those companies. From 1 November 2004, only the Granada logo appears at the end of programmes made by the Granada production business. A text credit to the Granada production centre also appears. However, on September 21 2005, it was announced that the production arm of ITV, Granada was to be renamed 'ITV Production', and the Granada name would now only be used at the end of programmes made for other channels.[1]

ITV is the biggest producer of programmes for the ITV1 network, and also produces for the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky Television.
