"I Believe In You" is also the name of a track by Neil Young (on his album After the Gold Rush) and a track by Deniece Williams (on her album Water Under the Bridge).

"I Believe In You" was the first single from Australian singer Kylie Minogue's second greatest hits album, Ultimate Kylie.

The single was released on December 6 2004.

The Song

The song is a collaboration between Kylie Minogue and Scissor Sisters members Jake Shears and Babydaddy.

Music Video

The futuristic music video was directed by Vernie Yeung. The video is somewhat similar to her previous hit "In Your Eyes" because both videos have multi-colored technological lights in a black background with robotic back-up dancers. The video also features Minogue in three different looks, one of which has her eyebrows covered with glitter.

Charts

The song was a hit around the world and, in the United Kingdom, reached the number two position behind "Do They Know It's Christmas" by Band Aid. The song did manage to top the United Kingdom airplay charts for six weeks. The song was released in the United States but failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. It did manage to chart on the Billboard Hot Dance/Club Play chart though giving Minogue another dance club hit in the states.
