Durham Academy (North Carolina)

Durham Academy is a K-12 private Independent school in Durham, North Carolina, United States. Durham Academy is divided into three campuses and has four age divisions: preschool, and lower, middle and upper school. It also has an affiliate, The Hill Center, which caters to students with specific learning disorders and/or attention deficit disorders. The current headmaster is Edward Costello.

History

It was founded in 1933 as the Calvert Method School and took its present name in 1959.
