Summary

You can edit other people's work, they will edit yours, anyone who undoes what you've done does not hate you.

Do's:

• Use the Help desk for problems or even uncertainties
• Fill in the edit-summary box when making an edit
• Communicate on a talk page about changes, concerns or contentions

Don'ts:

• Stress too much about formatting at first, focus on getting the information clear, neutral and sourced
• Use multiple user accounts
• Edit war, like reverting others edits over and over (use the talk page)
• Write articles that you are affiliated with or are self-promotional
• Add anything you didn't personally write yourself (copyright is important!)
