Donkey Konga 2 is the sequel to Donkey Konga for the Nintendo GameCube, a game where you must pound on a special, barrel-like controller called the DK Bongos along with a selected song.

The main selling point of Donkey Konga 2 is over 30 new songs to play the Bongos to. Other features include slightly improved graphics, the inclusion of some classic Donkey Kong characters and a variety of new minigames.

Donkey Konga 2 garnered some media attention for a review on GameSpy.com, written by Nich Maragos. Apparently he originally gave the game a 1.5/5.0, but GameSpy increased the score and added compliments. They later retracted the review. His comments may be found on his blog
