FOB Geronimo in Afghanistan is a military expeditionary base built by the United States Marine Corps. It is in along the Helmand River Valley in Nawa-I-Barakzayi District. It was originally built by 1st Battalion, 5th Marines in 2009. Currently there are speculations that an elite fighting team from 3rd Bn 3rd Marines, led by the infamous (more-than-famous) Trinity 6, will be occupying the FOB sometime in the summer of 2010.
