Navtech, Inc is an integrated airline operations solutions[clarification needed] provider. Established in 1985, its head office is located in Waterloo, Ontario. It has other development and support centres located in London and Stockholm. The charting and Navigation Data divisions are based in the UK.
As part of its growth strategy, in 2005 Navtech acquired the European Aeronautical Group (EAG), expanding its portfolio of airline solutions to include the following:
- Flight planning, surface weather and NOTAM[clarification needed] solutions
- Runway analysis and aircraft performance
- Weight and balance (mass and balance)
- Route manual and charting
- FMS navigation data
- Crew management solutions
- Aerad supplements
Navtech employs approximately 300 staff worldwide, with satellite offices located in Taipei and Singapore. It serves a global customer base of over 300 airline customers.
