Wikiwork

I joined wikipedia in February 2005 (though I have some earlier edits) and became an adminstrator on October 28, 2005. I am heavily involved with the Missing article project, creating and continuing to work on the the Catholic Encyclopedia Project. I also had a hand in the Hotlist. You may also see me at articles for deletion, disambig repair, merging articles, fixing double redirects or welcoming new users. I also revert vandalism wherever I can find it. I consider myself a wikignome and have over 5,000 edits. Take this number with salt though, I try very hard to use the preview button and write edit summaries, so this number may be lower than my actual "contribution". I scored a 134 on the Wikipediholic test.

New articles

Some I'm proud of, others not so much so, oddly most of the work is not related to Missing Encyclopedic articles

Major modifications

WikiPhilosophy

I am an inclusionist and eventualist, which stem from my Wikiliberal beliefs. (see also Wikipedia philosophies for some background). Despite this, I follow the notability guidelines for at Wikipedia:Importance for AFD. I stand strong against censorship and ignorance. I believe that most users are actually trying to help wikipedia though there are malicious or bored people who want to destroy it, though I agree with the statements by User:Bluemoose about the minimal contribution of anonymous users.
